990 Canisterectomy and SAS Removal..... Problem found..

After having some fueling issue on my 2012 990, I may have just found the problem... I thought now would be a good time to do a valve check and rid the canister and extra plumbing. At times my bike would feel like it was running out of fuel, and flat on power.

This is what I found when I removed the black cover to get to the canister.

As you can see the vent tubing is completely pinch shut. Both line, smashed together... This was a factory error...

So, if your having any issues... Here's a good place to start..

Your tanks would not be vented and would build a vacuum. It could cause your problems. Good find.

"Son, you can't do both"
