Of course. What I mean, to have those fit directly on the built-in rack of the Adv.

Same bolt pattern as earlier RC8-motor?

Having in mind buying one 1290 SD. Butt when I get tired of the little suspension stroke after another year or so....can I slaughter it and bring all essential stuff (motor, controls etc.) over to my beloved and then totally overhauled SE? about the way LocuL did

Seriously?

So the whole point of bikes is to go faster than 100mph and have to be for the UK market?

You still continue to amaze me....

That bike is the equivalent of a 1500 dollar a night call girl...

1. Expensive
2. Useless except for 1 activity.
3. Ride you wont forget.
4. Will do things to you that not many other would.
5. Your wife would be pissed of you brought her home..

Some people would say the same thing about your 1190 Adventure bike.....

You are entitled to your opinion, but this is the 2nd 1290 SuperDuke thread you have come into for the sole purpose of declaring it to be a bad choice of a motorcycle for anyone.

Different strokes.....

The point is that it is hooligan and can haul arse for those who want something totally impractical for adventure riding and touring but fooking outstanding for ripping tar out of the road on one wheel while providing the rider with an epic grin. like this guy --->

...Ouwh and that would be me to a T

Pointless..... ..... so is a 950 trail bike called an SE based on that

Nope you canīt. When you are tired of the absolute pointless, boring and +100mph bike. You would have to accept that i need that engine mmore than you do. I will ofcourse accept the bike as an gift. What say you Balsta. I can only imagine what 180hp would do under heavy acceleration with the 320mm suspension.

On a seriuos note I think you would find the gearbox annoying, guess how i know ;-)
Think of the RC8(R)/SD line as Closeratio(SX-F) boxes and the Adv as the EXC(wide ratio).

On another serious note. Balsta i would gladly help you with all my acquired knowledge for this. And if you mount 2 fans on the standard radiator itīs sufficient for cooling.

But we can discuss this(incl airfilters, oil and tires) when you make your build thread: Build a bear by Balsta... What a f.....ng rhyme

For Tancakar: This is pointless

Closer gear ratio

I already have the closer gear ratio with he SDR 990-motor I installed in 2010-11, and I luv the tighter gears.

Well what ever you guys think but I think it's pointless bike.
I didn't mean over 100 mph bikes not good for uk I ment this bike has a very limited market lets face it.

The bike is pretty and sounds good yes it's powerfull as well but for what ? If you want a track bike just buy a track bike , if you want to do stunts then you need to be rich because I am sure it will be an expensive bike for just doing stunt shows.

Normally a lot of people use street bikes( naked bikes) for commuting and weekends fun I am not sure with the price tag will it worth to buy the bike. I am sure it will be over 14000Ģ.

And you have got also better options

Triumph
Suzuki
Ducati
Agusta

Yep it's pointless, that is why I ordered one 2 weeks ago

As for the other options, why are they better? Based on what?
Not that I care, I wanted this one from the moment I saw the prototype last year, the others don't do anything for me.
