I spent 3 weeks camping on the beach there in late Spring this year. Planned on staying about 4-5 days and couldn't leave. I'm getting ready to go back. It's pure magic.

Sub Frame issues

Cycleracks makes a rear rack that mounts differently in that the front mounts are near the passenger peg area. I think this would take some downward pressure off the sub frame and move it forward to the passenger peg area.

For possible future consideration. I had one on my TW200 and loved it. Hope to order one soon for my CRF250L.

So I'm still in San Juanico. I have been relaxing and surfing.

Also it looks like a storm coming in, and I am not eager to be riding around in the rain. But it looks like it's not coming in until Sunday...

So continue to stay in room for $25/day and continue surfing and relaxing?

Or continue on the road...

this is my subframe

all repaired riding around the sand, tons of big goatheads and cacti

goofing around

Well I decided it was time to move on and I made it to La Paz

Sunset last night in San Juanico. missing it already

Road was already starting to get bad leaving Juanico

Road became sloppy mess... construction after cd Constitution

I was soaked through and took a break when I ran out of gas at this little rancho and was wrapped up in blankets and good spirits by a couple of nice dudes

Now I'm in a hostel with a private room in La Paz. Doing laundry! I won't have to smell terrible for a while!

No.

I find a nice campsite. Archeon I think it was called. Just a beautiful spot.

Campo Archelon, the couple who own the place are some of the most interesting people i've ever met. the story of how they ended up there and built that place is amazing. he used to run the turtle research station just down the beach.

Are you running with your Rotopax absolutely 'full' of gasoline?
Liquid sloshing around in tanks may cause problems.
