Bob? Your signature and hubs look pretty rasta mon... Maybe some red spokes and green rims! Just my best guess. BTW your build looks awesome so far. If you want to take some trial runs down south in San Diego let me know!

The bike will be in San Diego in a few weeks having a GPR Stabilizer built.
I hope to take it out for a little test run over Thanksgiving weekend.

PM me when you come down. The SDAR guys are great to ride with, and I would love to see what my bike can do when properly set up! The XC really needs a stabilizer (and suspension) so I may have to look GPR up as well.

Are you looking to gain any weight savings through the wheels? As a matter of fact, are you trimming weight throughout the bike and, if so, where and how much?

The wheels are being built to stand up to the elements of Baja and we are going to run the Dunlop 908 Rally raid rear tire.

As for shaving of weight???? we are trying too!!!!!!

UPDATE:
Seat Concepts have stepped up and are building a Tall Rally style seat for the Baja tiger. They are also developing dual-sport / adventure seat-kits incorporate a wider seating area for the rider, which results in a more even weight distribution, while reducing pressure points. Each individual seat model was specially designed to increase comfort without compromising rideability. The more aggressive the bike, the more aggressive our seat-kit.

Woody's is hard at work building the pair of wheels, We will be using
Excell A60 rims Superlaced with Supersized stainless steel spokes and nipples, each spoke crossing over 3 other spokes to be positioned off the hub at as much a 90 degree angle as possible. The result of Superlacing is a matrix of strength and durability guaranteed to not come out of true for at least a full year - from any type of hard riding.

That flimsy plate bracket is 4mm 302 stainless-steel, and has been round Tunisia off-road, all our products are tested off-road before we sell to the Adventure market, that's why we are backing this project, these guys are not talking about it, they are going to do it.
Race it Sunday, sell it Monday..........

I'm excited to hear about Seat Concepts being in high gear with seats for the Tiger.

Their seats are on two of my bikes and I've been holding out waiting on them to throw me a bone with something for the Tiger.

Looking for about an inch more height and less of a trough to slide into.

Can't wait to see what it looks like on your Baja Tiger.
