Mtnpat doing a bit of fine tuning to remedy a sticking throttle after an oops.

Dwreker hiding from the camera. I swear I was trying to get a hero shot of him coming down into the hairpin. He was up when I pushed the button, however by the time the crappy cell phone cameras shutter went off he was napping. :( He and the bike were fine and he gave me permission to post it. A good sport he is! :)

Curiously enough no photo of my off. Heh, nice to be the only one with a camera handy. :)

Good to meet you both, thanks for joining me for some off road fun today, everyone made it out with only some scrapes and no flat tires - success!

I need to work on my core, I'm a bit sore

So from what I understand, the Peters Mill section is a bit tamer than the Taskers section, and likewise for keeping on the main trail vs heading up the side trails?
You did a great job on that 800, bike seemed very capable and you must have been doing your part too!

Looks like fyn for sure, but I'm not quite sure that my bike or me would have been ready for that!

Hahahhahaha this is an awesome picture. What, I just really felt the need to get some push ups in!

Great meeting both of you! So it looks like you guys explored some of the harder trails after I took off? Were any of the crashes spactular?

Thanks mtnpat! Overall I was pretty happy with it, maybe a new front tire before next time.

We ran a few of the other trails before heading back across Peters Mill. Nothing epic in the way of crashes. Just dirt naps. Mine was back on Peters Mill. I was getting into a grove. I saw a section of large rocks ahead on one side of the trail and opted to see if I could launch over all of them by hitting the first one hard enough. Came up short on the landing... LOL.

looks like fun...... If anyone is up for it, weather permitting I am up for a Sunday "jaunt" this weekend nov 3. Maybe some aggressive backroads with a mix of gravel, and unmarked pavement. I plan to ride the DRZ400.

5punksdad, I would normally join you but I had two days of off road and one day of dual-sport this past weekend.........so this weekend I'll be on this (my wife on her SV650). No gravel for us, but still an adventure!
