2015 1190 Adventure Heat Issues?

Has anyone heard if KTM has made any changes to the 2015 1190 Adventure models to cure the heat issues?

I might consider a 2015 if they have fixed the heat coming from under the seat and have fixed the air box so you can actually ride this bike in the dirt without ruining the motor.

And I would want cruise control like many of the other Adventure bikes have because I like to ride 400+ miles a day.

You might be right but I thought the KTM dual sports were the wrong bike for me until KTM came out with the 500EXC. Bought one and found out it is a great bike. Actually helped me ride better, kinda like a "cheater" bike.

Sounds like you are enjoying your 1190. Always good to hear from the owners who live with them.

I don't know if this has been covered yet, but has anyone tried header wrap to reduce heat coming from rear exhaust?
