Usual weather beginning of March? Vegas motorcycle rental?

I'll be out in Las Vegas with work the first week of March. The good news is, I'm thinking of using the end of my trip as a getaway for me and the wife. Thinking about renting a bike and hitting the Grand Canyon and possibly Sequoia National Park. What's the usual weather that time of year or is it too hit or miss to call? We can handle colder weather, just don't want to run in to any snow on a rental.

Great time for Death Valley

Perhaps south rim of the GC, north rim could be iffy.

May be just too early for the Sequoias to access from the west.

You know how far apart GC is from Seq right?

Yes I do, just trying to figure out a way to see a few things we've been wanting to see. It will be doable but we will have to skip sight seeing a day to get there if we do. Any recommendations? We will have around 5 days to tour and see some sights. Any rental suggestions? Got an extra bike?

Grand Canyon should be seen if you never have.

In the immediate Vegas area is Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, North Shore Rd., and the Hoover Dam, a must is to walk up to the Bypass bridge and look down on the Hoover.

Death Valley is great option, and a perfect time of year.

Just up I15 a few hours is Zion NP and Bryce NP beyond that. Zion sits at a much lower elevation than Bryce, so is very doable in March. The St. George area has some great paved options, just go find RedRockRider's thread.

I don't think we'll be back from our trip in March.

Five days? I wouldn't go to Sequoia. I don't think you can get through from the west without going WAY south.

I'd stay where it is solid warm.

A good loop is:

Pahrump/Shoshone/Death Valley/Ridgecrest/Palmdale/Apple Valley/Joshua Tree/Mojave National Preserve/Havasu/Laughlin/back to LV
Five days right there. Nice and warm and lots of interesting things. Reasonable motels.

Thanks for the loop recommendation Tuckers, I will check it out for sure. Appreciate all of the feedback fellas. I'm just bummed I don't have the time to ride my bike out there this time.
