Accommodation in Brisbane

Dominik,
If you need accommodation in Brisbane, send me a message. Living on the southside for a bit will be a good base for you.

Cheers

Rob A.

I will be back in the area later this year so the message might take some time :)

Sunday Naz went on a bike tour with me a showed me a little bit of the
Sunshine Coast Hinterlands (Hinterland is a funny word for me because
it is German and it you translate it its Backcountry).

In the evening I finally repaired Outback Otto using super glue. From
now on there will be pictures with him again.

Monday was like Christmas for me. Two parcels with new equipment I had
ordered arrived. Number one was a new camera. I have replaced my Canon
EOS 550d DSLR with a very small Sony RX100.

Number two was a new stove set. I switched over to a Trangia 27 with a
gas burner.

You rode the highway from northern NSW to Brisbane? that's a shame, you missed some great roads through there. Nimbin > Kyogle > Beaudesert via Lions rd > brisbane. If you head back that way be sure to check it out.

On Tuesday Naz had offered me to go hiking and to show me the
Kondalilla Falls. It was absolutely bucketing down and we were soaked
within minutes but the waterfall was completely dry :(

But instead I had a new experience I was bitten by leaches for the first time.

lol I am never leaving leeches on for fun again. I was itchy for 2 weeks!! I will add it to the list of very stupid things I will try once. (long list)
Hiking in the rain was fun though and then we watched Terra Circa and ate pizza
