Not my bike, and mine looked like this one except after being pushed off a cliff and left outside for a couple of years. But it was a Truimph 350 twin. Cool old bikes.

Here is mine. Pardon the bad picture, it is from the framed image from our weddings slide show. It is me on my Bronco minibike. About two weeks after I got an Aeromacchi Harley 125cc to thrash this bike was stolen. So sad, but really glad they didn't steal my Harley. I got the Bronco at age 5. Hit the house with it, and it disappeared until I was 6. Great times on this old bike.

I had a little 50cc Honda when I was a kid (early 80's), but these are my first two "real" bikes. Bought within a month of each other, because I just can't step into anything slowly.... 93 VFR 750f (as a project) and 08 Ninja 250R (to learn to ride on).

VFR after Resto. Barn bike...

No ability to go around corners?

There was and has never been any bike raced as much as the old RD's and no bike which has won as many races.
Hell they had a series named after them in more than one country that fed most of the professional racers onto the big scene.

And I hate to tell you this but on a tight track that old RD will still give fits to a much more modern machine

I got one of these in c1975
Nobody knew what this bike was when I described it, then I found a pic here on ADV

Mine was the same hideous color, same tires but had the chrome front fender. At the time my dad told me it was 'somewhere between 80 and 100 cc's'

edit: I just did some looking around. It's a Moto Beta 50cc Bebe. So my first bike was Italian. Suddenly, I feel like a glass of wine!

My Dad sold a load of those bikes out of his shop in New Jersey, The Sport Spot. It was a good little machine.

around fall or winter 2004 i was 9 i think.... i don't remember.
best bike i have ever owned though, 1 or 2 oil changes in 4 years, i don't remember ever cleaning the air filter or doing anything with the sparkplug, i rode the snot out of it and never had a single issue always started first or second kick. thing had balls for a 110 too.

note the proper motorcycle gear: winter jacket, jeans, shoes and sled gloves.
if i ever find that bike i am buying it back

'72 SL100 Honda...

1972 SL100 Honda, 21" front wheel, 350 knobbies, Bassani pipe, lime green Preston Petty plastic front fender.

Got it for Christmas in 1973 (I was 13). I've had over 30 motorcycles since then, and a lot more expensive presents over the years as well, but none have meant as much to me as that first bike.
