1988/89 Husqvarna WR 125 (or, WRE...?)

Anyone owned or know much about the late 80s Husqvarna WR125s?

Believe they were imported in 88 as a "WRE" with some 89s making their way in. Extensive research shows no known VIN numbers for the 89s. I matched a brochure from Europe to the one I found. Original owner and all.

Anyone got any information on em? Know they have a Cagiva motor, but how similar to the WMX 125s Cagiva made?

Thanks a bunch!

I remember reading a old magazine article on those awhile back. There were three bikes tested. The WR125, ATK125 (both super rare) and something else.... KDX125 maybe?

Sorry I'm not much help

They were a rebadged cagiva. Dirt Bike rated it highly. They had a few articles on setting them up and mods. I had an 86 cagiva. It was a great bike. Very competitive with other 125s of the time and it looked really cool.
