Where is Nicoletti?

That aside.

based on this list 450 riders in 2014 prefer Honda.

Honda 15
Suzuki 12
Kaw 7
Yamaha 5
KTM 5

with # 619 currently undecided...

And how about Suzuki who basically didn't even have new model year bikes a few years back (RMZ's aside) with a resounding 2nd place of 12 riders.

Assuming Nicoletti rides Yamaha's 5 goes to a 6.

that was the news a few weeks back. can't believe the season starts this weekend. until then, check out our homegrown talent on the ice. I'll hopefully be shooting some of this real soon.

Eli in action, the shots through the whoops are amazing.

At Washougal nobody was as smooth as Tomac through the whoops, neither of the Ryans were even close to as smooth, he was just perfectly smooth and straight and FAST every time through.

He is going to be the spoiler in the 450s this season.

that would mean he'd win some races and prevent someone from winning the title thereby opening the door for someone else to win the title. don't stop now lets hear your prediction.

Not sure I'm brave enough to make any predictions.

But I think you just nailed this season. We just thought the last two seasons were great, this one is going to be even harder to call.

I don't think Tomac is shooting for spoiler. I can not wait for the gate to drop. I get butterflies watching gates drop on TV, I can't imagine how they feel. Imagine James Stewarts father at the outdoor 450's where he's got both of his sons on the line. I need to make some plans on getting to a SX, not sure which one. I have very big plans for the outdoor series. I'd consider Daytona but it seems like more often than not they are in the rain, not my idea of fun sitting outside in the rain at night in March even if it is Florida. The Tomac/Barcia dynamic should be interesting to watch play out as they will both be up front and Barcia is not above aggressive cornering. But I'm thinking Tomac isn't going to let anyone push him around and there is no reason why he shouldn't have as good of a chance as anyone. Jake Weimer is listed as a Kawasaki rider but not a Monster Energy Kawasaki. I wonder if his gravy train for lack luster results has finally left the station without him.

And how about Weston Peick. there was lots of press last year about him not having a full ride when he should have, can't imagine he'll be cutting anyone any slack should a potential inside line be up for grabs..

>"...nobody was as smooth as Tomac through the whoops,..."

I wonder if he's 'trading off' the 'optimum' suspension in other parts of the course?

Really fast on the whoops... and a bit slower elsewhere.
Will be interesting to see.

Actually he was faster just about every where.

And I agree with 'Flug, Tomac himself is not looking to be a spoiler, he's looking for the top step on the podium. I'm not sure he's quite ready for that yet, could easily be wrong about that though.

I think he'll do well but he doesn't seem to me to have quite the fire on the 450 he seems to have on the 250.

It will be interesting to see one way or another though.

Personally I'm afraid it gonna be the Vilopoto show again but I hope not.
