I'm pumped and excited to be attending this. I've never ridden in Death Valley before.

Is there anything else I need to do to be registered??? I'm reading this long post, trying to make sure I dot my I-s and cross my t's.... Should I let you guys pick a camping spot for me?

sorry, you will need a badge to get your complimentary camping and dinner. the badge will be $25. actually $15 of that will go to charity. this way, you don't get left out, you'll get a raffle ticket and able to enjoy the festivity.

if you have a paypal account, go ahead and send it to advsprinter at gee mail doth com. use personal or gift to avoid the fee.

plenty of dirt to set up a tent. once you get there, look for me, ersin or spafxer and we will point you to a nice flat and soft dirt.

sorry the grassy sections in the trees next to the running stream are all taken.....

FOLKS WHO SENT CHECKS. I HAVEN'T LOST ANY OF THEM YET, BUT I WILL DEPOSIT THEM THIS WEEK.

YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN ALL HIDING FROM THE FEDS, BUT WON'T BE LONG.

I am finishing some GPS tracks for three rides that I am going to post up. I am not a GPS expert and am fortunate (IMO, could be debated) to use a Montana and have not ran into limitations of number of track or waypoints. I understand that other GPS may have limits, for those that are going to send out tracks to riding participants is there a good guideline of how many tracks and or way points should be used for most people to be able to use them?

Most older GPS's have a limit of 500 points per individual track. So if you require a lot of points, then you would have to break a route down into enough parts such that no track has more then 500 points.

Would like to add a day

Hi Guys,
I changed my plans and would like to stay Thursday evening also. I only paid for Friday, and Saturday.
Can I add Thursday?

love to have you there.

your fuel range will be your main limitation, so don't get excited yet....

if you could do 150 miles, plus a liter, i think you could do the medium range group rides.

Hmm... 150 miles on the dirt... I'm not sure exactly what MPG I'll get out there in Death Valley... I'm guessing 40MPG on the dirt, depends what gear I'm in most of the time... Might need to pop on one of those Acerbis 3.7 gallon tanks... or carry a whole lot of pepsi fuel bottles.

a bigger tank will take you to farther places between fuel stops. since you're on a mission, it will be worth having the extra capability and peace of mind.

have to replace the 2+ gal oem tank on my bike with a 5.3 gal was one of my first upgrades....
