Can't wait for it, have a better bike this time. Didn't race last time due to having a KLR and thought I would not be competive. But now I know it is more then that...just going to have a good time.
Run whatcha brung!!! Couple KLR's raced this year....but you figured it out. It's all for fun!

One step closer this year than I was last year... Got a good bike to do it on, and that's step 1 checked off my list!

Now its in the garage, needing the rekluse clutch taken out, and original clutch put back in... as well as a new headlight setup (Id like to get a 8" round LED and then two small LED spot "ditch lights" ) and needs to be completely rewired.

My winter will be spent in the garage trying to get this thing sorted out...

If anyone will be needing a rekluse cutch in the next couple weeks, let me know. I will be selling it on here to pay my entry/membership fee and insurance on the bike

Cant wait to race my first rally!

I have had ZILCH sand experience... That's if you don't count hitting the sandy sections out at Bonneville this year at about 85mph... So hey, at the very least we can be the crazy chicks that everyone is excited to see go by because there is a chance we go flying over the handlebars?

Could be a record year for moto girl attendees and 3 out of four on Husqvarna's and the other on a Beemer!!!! I like that.

Curious as to why you're taking out the Rekluse though, when tuned right it's a real good fail safe and 99% same as stock clutch.

I would be happy to skip the over handlebar aspect and simply try to get you drunk at the finish

awesome!! after riding with it im just not really a fan. I like my rear brake at my foot and being able to use a clutch when going through town... i dont like riding a "dirt scooter" lol! I am programed with a regular clutch/brake setup since age 8, and dont really want to change it now :)

There is no reason you can't have a foot brake with the Rekluse, the Rekluse left hand brake is an option and if you have the Z-Start Pro model Rekluse in that bike (which you may not) then you can have a manual clutch override (stock clutch lever) no problem at any time you want to pop the clutch. You do give up engine braking in gear with engine off and depending on how the auto clutch is tuned you compromise in some engine braking performance but there is no reason why you can't have a foot brake and Rekluse at the same time.

I tried the left handed brake option and short of running an extreme enduro I saw no benefit and it got in the way for my hare scrambles so I sent it back.

Yes! Some competition! Wait, 2x the HP, 3x the torque, and half the weight. Think anyone would notice if I put the TW200 wheels and plastics on the SE and ran it in the Lite class?
