AZ, Williams to GC, Sunday Aug. 24th.

I am planning a long ride ~182 miles off-Rd, from Williams on Espee Rd, Willaha county Rd to Tusayan for Lunch and fuel. And from Tusayan south to Hwy 64 (via forest Rd) with various terrains that range from hi speed dirt to narrow 2 tracks, to mixt rocky stuff. It suit B+ rider (or better). It's good for bike's displacement of 400 to 650cc. Must have a gas range up to at least 100 miles before next fill up. Rider must be prepare for all sort of contingencies. Must be in good physical condition, this ride can be exhausting while half way and you don't even realize it. We're going to be moving most of the time with minimal break if possible. That if we wanted to finish the whole route or most of it.
- It's ~ 115 miles to Tusayan, https://goo.gl/maps/rZHbM
At the end of this link I am exploring an extra 7 miles that run at the edge of this canyon: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=35.93...num=1&t=h&z=17
- After that we'll catch Anita Rd to Tusayan via FR2612 and FR334.
- The way back via forest Rd. https://goo.gl/maps/uI8uP to Hwy 64.
Bail out is possible on the way back if someone got tired.
-Place and time to meet:
Sunday August 24th, at 7:30am at the Shell gas station on Hwy 64 here:
https://maps.google.com/maps?q=35.32...num=1&t=h&z=17
Engine Start at 8am precisely.
I suggest if your in for this ride, to take off the night before to Williams to camp or Motel. There's also KOA Camp site near our meeting place.
PM me for any embarrassing questions ...

You had me all the way up to " Must be in good physical condition"

Like Utefan says, " I am at my target height, just not my ideal weight"

Thanks for the tip Countd. I check couple of GPX tracks off of the site u mentioned, if that's the one you're talking about?

I have already did this few time but not to Cameron. This time we're exploring west side of Hwy 64. Towards Havasu Canyon over here:

You can't post good stuff on AdvRider because of size and .gpx restriction. You must go to GPSXchange.com to see the good stuff. Check out the AZ Statewide Motorized Trail System. I have nothing much west of Hwy 180 so would like your tracks when you gete back.

Eddy you must register and upload before you can look and download from gpsfilexchange. But its worth it. There are some real good tracks there...

Sounds like a good one. Looks like will still have some monsoon weather but I doubt it will affect that area much. Looks like I might be in.

You can say that again! Haven't seen it rain this hard up here in years. May be mud bog city up there.
