As well it should.
I have a tendency for tardyness so I usually tell people later later than I intend.
It was a joke that you may eventually get used to.

Steelwind and I are both on a Gen 1. We both like aggressive terrain and have trained our rides to make friends with anything. So depends on what you consider friendly. Ive seen KLR riders freak out about a rock in the road. And some that are scared of pavement.

Gearing

Trying to decide on gearing for the Havasu trip. Other rides in the area seem to have included some excessive speeds: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=840821

Sounds like this group is a little more into the technical route. Just put 15/45 on the XR650R. It's good for 60mph cruise but would not be too much fun in the tight stuff.

KLR can do it all. It's all about technique and style.

Let's see.......

> Under ten minutes to get to the office.

> I found a few indy coffee shop that sells coffee that tastes like coffee.

> I had a gathering with my coworkers last night, and only had to ride 15 minutes to get home.

> I have only had to fill up the motorcycles once since I've been here, and the truck once. Same with the car, and it is still full.

> I have shitloads of open desert around my neighborhood, so I still get to enjoy that.

I think we know the answer.

Surely you miss practicing your fractions by the variable ratios of ethnical constitutions of your neighbors.....?
I love watching the kids next door play on top of their dads hotrod while their mom cusses at the tv instead of the constantly barking dog.
