Any help finding the link would be greatly appreciated !!!
I saw the same thread, looks like a good one! He's a hell of a photographer as well.

To replicate what I did, technically you need a GCNP backcountry permit, obtained by contacting the backcountry office. Then, you pay the tribe $25 out there on the dirt road. You might not see a tribal authority to pay while you are out there and the tribe did not respond to my request to obtain the permit in advance on a recent trip last October. Cool trip, don't let these little technicalities dissuade you..no biggie.
Thank you!!! This is exactly why I got a GS, for trips like this. I'm going to start planning it.

I could not find a Mike Jensen associated with any property near Nothing (or Wikieup) on the Mojave county assessors site. And, since their site is not as up to date as Maricopa, I could not look up the property by location... just name or parcel #, of which I have neither.
I love posts like this. Pass that spot on the road all the time. Here's the guy's website that was mentioned in the article. http://www.pizzamanmike.com/id5.html
I hope he still owns it and is getting a return via cell tower lease...that's usually good money. Too bad the county and adot thwarted his efforts to make a cool stopping point along the highway.

Parcel info...

south pie piece 102-75-002

After a little more web hunting, it appears the original developer of Nothing might have made something afterall...

Not easily done
Riding a cruiser or touring bike to Flagstaff via 17. That would bore me. But much ado about Nothing is rather interesting. And Why?

Well just tried an innovativemethod of moving bees. Not sure if it worked or not. Started going through shed floor with no results. Then straight under the floor from the side. Bees disappeared but it also started getting dark. No obvious results.

Is Mike Jensen the guy who bought Nothing and then planned on making a living by selling pizzas out of a trailered brick oven?

If so, I feel bad for the dude. His pizzas were good, his business model was a complete failure.

Wait.....Yup, that's him.

Well thank you. It took me living in 5 redneck towns and having an affinity for constructive projects to get the "city folk" and "beach bum" out of me. Now I feel better.
