Just for reference, guys, this is rough, rocky road. With traffic. (I'm on the green Royal Enfield, just a couple weeks ago. )

Great video. Why were there people standing along the road at about the 6:30 mark

Road repair crew, Kevin. They are everywhere, handling small land slides, filling pot holes, etc. Pretty much all hand labor, pick 'n shovel work. They actually set up camps along the way, live out of tents with family, etc. Mostly local mountain folk, gives them a lively hood and a way to connect with the world. That road (it's now a National Highway) was built during the 1948 war with Pakistan. Great video about it here:

Exploration ride for an upcoming event. From Williams and back ~172 miles 140 off-rd of mixt terrains. I'll post a RR soon.

Sure, I'll squeeze in Google maps links in the RR, but u still need to revise the terrains few time before riding up there because the terrains is so confusing and there's a lot of closure signs (hunting permit, etc...).
