I don't read that as being unsuitable for ADV bikes, I read that as it's unsuitable for newbies on ADV bikes but to each their own.

Timing is tighter than I'd like with the GS Trophy ending on the 14th and this starting on the 24th. Last min bike prep/packing, 4 days travel and a day or 2 to prep in Baja before the Rally. Doable but the 2015 Baja Rally makes much more sense for me.

Hey Guys, I'm out. Mostly money, but my bike isn't ready, I haven't ridden since February..... I'm in Arkansas and my garage is in Cali with all my spares and tools.... I'll be down there to watch the start at least, and see what I can do to help Scotty. I already have the time off anyway! See you down there.

That's no bueno, but I know your pain.

Screw the start, come to the finish and join the party.

Mark and I are running 300 miles of test roadbook this weekend in eastern Wa. I will be seeing how the DLX400RR handles with 5.5gal of fuel on board. 150 miles between fill-ups is a long way in the sand!
