Four days off on the roads of Switzerland

English is not my mother tongue, so apology for any misunderstanding

Output Geneva 2013 with Donald, Memo and Thierry.
12 passes in the sun, Oh yeah, a little rain too.

DAY 1.

A full road trip to bring us to Meiringen for our first night.

Initially, at the BdT in Carouge, already happy

On the road to reach our first destination. Meiringen

Donald in "MV Brutale"

In the National Park Gantrisch

What! How? No, but ...

Can we do more Switzerland?

A little tenderness, hell ...

Properly aligned in a beautiful setting

In the park: UNESCO Biosphäre

Above Sarnersee

End of day one

Thumb

The photo of you guys lined up is incredible. The light is so very pretty. I was just near Lugano and all I could think was how very beautiful it was. I can't wait for more photos.

NICE!!!

Geneva to Glaubenbielen Pass....which route would a local take?
Bulle-Fribourg-Riggisberg-Emmental?
And where did you stay?
Sorry for all the questions, just curious where and what the locals are doing.
Just back from Valais, Berner Oberland etc ourselves...

The climate is changing

DAY 3.

A loop Ticino - Ticino: The Centovalli, Simplon and Nufenen to spend the night in Airolo.

Into the Centovalli, a stop for rest a bit

The sun is gone

A stop in Italy, Orso Blanco in the boondocks called Siberia (Thierry)

At the top of the Simplon, a bit chilly (René)

DAY 4.

Back home by the Nufenen and the "Pas de Morgins"

A coffee stop before Brig

My rain gear to descend the Nufenen

That's it, Folks!

We slept in hotels, 1 bedrooms for 4, the price was between CHF 160 -. and 240 -. for a night ... (One Swiss franc is worth about $ 1)

I appreciate your feedback!

Maybe I should tell you about my trip to the Maghreb, in the 80s

Bye for now!
René

It wasn't all that long ago that the glacier went all the way down to the lake!

The light is fantastic. When did you do the ride?
