Everyone helps the downed rider get off the hill. Local UTV'ers gave him a lift down to the Hwy. where paramedics picked him up. We ditched his bike behind some bushes and reversed direction and headed for a different mountain pass.Once we made it up to the next pass I had a chance to pull out my camera for a moment.

Threre's Jim, My new riding friend from the east coast; N H He's riding a newer version of my bike; An injected Husqvarna TE610. Jim had a 6 gallon fuel tank that only carried 4 gallons due to a pump mounting malfunction. If he tried to put more gas in it past the pump mounting area it would perform an automatic leak down test. The base where the pump mounts wasn't flat so sealing was an issue. Jim later received a new tank free of charge; warranty claim #2.

Nice pics!

Are you using the Wolfman E-12 saddlebags? How did they work for you?

Good pictures Pozer, thanks for sharing. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your ride.

BTW. we may have talked for a bit. My Bud and myself were doing the CDR. and we met one morning when we fueling up our bikes. Don't remember where, after that ride all the day's seemed to run together.

Yes I do remember you guys said you were from NY I believe. I suspect you'll be taking the wives on a cruise next year for their heroic efforts of support. I hope they had as good a time as you did. BTY. I'm hoping to ride the Mexico to Canada ride supported by Countdown DS.Should be good; sort of like what you did only a little more to the left.

The second day we head up a small hill. It's still a little dry so dust is becoming an issue. Playing follow the leader is all good most of the time. We don't have to worry about where we are going we just expect to arrive at our daily destination without too much hassle. By the end of the second day though it seems that half of our crew has bailed.Between crashes & breakdowns we slowly morphed into two mirco groups.

And there I am; happy to be getting my fill of Colorado. It's certainly is gorgeous when you get a chance to stop and soak it all in. JUST SOOOO MANY ROCKS! Good thing I put those ultra heavy duty tubes in before I left home.

To be continued.

Rocks and more Rocks!

It looks like you checked off quite a few boxes this summer! Beautiful pictures and what looks like epic single track before your start of the CAM1000. No wonder you rode so effortlessly on the CAM1000!
