Did they fix that trail south of the ferry? It's a handful on a GSA, lots of babyheads.

I bought an X-Challenge with this event in mind. I guess I'm in for the spring ride. Now I only need to figure out additional fuel and lugagge options

Hell, both sound awesome.

The navigation rally... sort of like the Dacre, but over a couple of days? That would beat the shit outta me, but would be awesome.

The CRC is an individual rider event, no teams/team-mates.

How much Bar Banging single track will be included in the CRC. Is there a sweep crew?

Any ballpark on the entry fee?

Would be riding a 690.R

Ballpark on entry fee....still working on it. A ton of details to figure out. Around the end of the year we should be open for registration and all details should be sorted out and posted.

A few short stretches of single track. The majority of the special sections will be double track trails and non paved back roads. The transits will be gravel and paved roads.

The CRC will take place Monday to Friday to allow folks travel days on either end. This also gives the benefit of the trails jot having weekend traffic.

There will be a limit on how many riders we can accept for the CRC. 10-18 riders....we're still figuring the logistics out. Add to that a dozen staff and x amount of support folks...
Accommodations, providing food, safety, etc all have to be considered.

Hope that helps...

Can you run the crc on strictly gps, or have to use a roadbook and GPS only as back up?

Road book only to navigate "Special Sections". GPS will be used only to verify that you navigated the route correctly and possibly for Liaisons.

Ya for sure, RR heading to one of the best and most remote riding areas around...folks can Google a town called Parent, Quebec. We'll spending one night there then heading north west across the big empty
