Southern California Women Dualsporters

Where are all of the women riders? If you're interested in getting together a women's riding group post up. The only one I can find is a racing group - definitely not for me

When I started riding dirt about 2 years ago I didn't realize that there is only about 1 woman rider for every 300 guy riders (not complaining necessarily, but it would be nice to have some girl talk occasionally..... )

Get together for day rides, maybe some camping trips?

Try " so cal offroad trails" on meet-up. They ride a lot and locally. Good group and a few chicks. More chicks than around here.

Dualsporter might be a bit of a stretch, but I meet your other criteria. Still running road tires on my NC and need to get some protection for her (as soon as the house closes next week) but I'm up for some rides. Determined to explore the desert this winter.

I'd really like to ride the Bradshaw trail and connecting roads. Let me know when you've got the time and the bike is ready! I'm open on weekends, Saturday or Sunday. Saw that you're going to Death Valley in March.

Yep, good group. I was thinking of posting there to see if we can get together a women's group (men can always come too )

If you really want to meet other Dual Sporters try District 37 Dual Sport:

Sounds like fun. I'll let you know when I've got her dressed for dirt. Hoping to be a little less noob by DVNR.

I'm planning on finishing my mods this Friday, anyone up for a ride Saturday afternoon? Something easy for a shakedown?

I'd love to, but I did a OTB 3 weeks ago and I'm still pretty banged up.

My fiance is interested. She doesnt like riding with my friends. I am not sure if I could get her to go without me though. She likes the slow speed stuff.

We will most likely be going to DV, we went last year.

I don't mind if guys come along. Mine can't, since he's waiting for the '14s to come out before he trades in his cruiser. I just don't want to get anybody in trouble with their wives/GFs, wandering off with strange women from the internet.
I don't know any routes in the area, and have about 15 miles of off pavement experience, so easy and slow is wonderful. I also ride a Honda NC700X, which isn't exactly known for its off-road prowess.

One of my bros might meet the criteria! I call him a certain part of the female anatomy all the time!
Just pulling your leg! I hope that more chicks get involved with all types of riding.

throw together a Facebook group. that and this thread and you'll gather a wider audience.

I'll hit up Triplbiscuit (Shannon) to get her on your rides.

San Diego Adventure Riders has some great female riders. Free to join - site is undergoing construction so forgive some clunkiness right now. I've been riding with them since '09 - great group of folks.

Some North County riders head up into your area or ride Thomas Mtn, Palomar (dirt on the N side) etc. DSFox heads up a sub group that does some camping.

Anyway, see if it's a fit.

I've met some good people through there - need to get active again.
