Colleen's computer cord has a ground/earth and there are none in this room. The bedside wall light was hanging from it's wires, so I did a little Mcgyver and we have power to charge and run her laptop.

Tolls, tolls, tolls all day long. Remember if you are doing math, we have two bikes, I've started posting the cost for each toll, but gas posted is for two bikes. We have been filling twice a day, never got close to empty.

People are very nice to us, and I am sure we can be a big presence, we just seem to arrive and make noise and joke around. I only had one negative experience.....at a toll booth...the last one we went through, the lady was just not amused by our antics.
This young woman on the other hand was a happy soul, she got us our room and then joined in making our dinner and served it to us, lovely lass

Thanks Hansi! You know me, always messing around with something.
next I must make a chain guard for Colleen's bike. Somehow it went missing?!
I will look for a street sign or something. Cut and bend it.

Where are you now? How is the weather? How is the BMW?

Type your post then highlight the text. (left click, drag the cursor across the text)

At the top of the reply page is a capital A with a heavy black underscore. Click on the little triangle just to the right. A color palette will drop down, click on the color you want.

It might be a little cumbersome if you post several photos with text between each one, as you'd have to repeatedly highlight and pick your color for each text section. My point is: it would be easier for whomever is posting the most pics to use the default text color.

There are two blues, the lower one is easier to read.
Roses are red This one is "Blue"
Violets are blue This one is "RoyalBlue"

Obviously you can pick any color. I suggested orange because that's what Jammin Jay used.

Note: when you click on the color you'll get {color="Dark Orange"} added at the beginning of your text and {/COLOR} at the end. The text between {COLOR="Blue} all text in here will be the color you picked {/COLOR}. The only difference is it uses [ ] instead of { }

I'll be glad to help with figuring this out, it's easier than I'm making it sound.

I'm using the stock ADVrider format, it has a dark gray screen. Black is almost impossible to read. I always Preview Post my posts to make sure it worked.

So you're on the road eh?
Rain and crap like that is ok if you have good gear or at least you can dry up every night.
Nice to see that you're having a great time.
Drive with care and once past DF there's only Oxaca with big city traffic.
Are you going to San Cristobal?
I'll be going soon , I'll leave for Puebla on the 28th Nov and hope to catch the Stahlratte on the 16th and if not we're flying which is maybe even better as I've never had any sea legs.
with som luck I'll catch up and we can have a meal or two and maybe the odd beer.
Take care

Following along

Enjoying your report. I am following along, just ahead of you I think. We are just leaving Monterry this morning after a couple of minor repairs. Going to see Grutas de Garcia this morning, caves just worth west of town. Then heading towards real de catorce, ruins. Maybe see you down the road.
