PS, no inside the restroom photos yet Colleen..

PPS, Hi Mo'!
You know, it's just not fun anymore..... the restrooms are as you would expect......toilet seats, toilet paper, no hanging wires, every thing is to code..... too boring to snap a photo of such places!

And a 'hi mo', huh?

There's a "tongue in cheek" insertion there Colleen ref; a facebook quote she said to me about "Having a busy evening at home"

You'll need to ask her for any more on that one via PM.

Talking tuckers to tdf

Just doing some mental arithmetic, the way we are coming home is only 35 times faster than the ride down

tuckers to tdf

If you are reading this thread and want a taste of this type of adventure but don.t have the time or money you could easily do something I have been thinking about for a while now.....

Fly to Quito, get a bus north to Ibarra...ask around on main street for the moto selling area...there was a huge line of used bikes one street back from the PanAm

Buy yourself a used. 125cc, for about five hundred bucks strap on your mini Giant Loop.......head out for as long as you have..........
When you are done come back and sell the bike in the same area.........it.s a big area of just bike sellers and buyers.

Or.......you could go to Freedom Rentals in Quito and they will fix you right up.

Tell .em I sent ya

Congratulations!!

It has been my daily treat to follow your blog. I really like how you both make it seem so accessible and ordinary riding to the other side of the planet. I'm sure you have shown others a path they did not believe was there. Be Well.
