tuckers to tdf

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

We will keep this going for just a little while yet, just for interest sake, but soon enough this thread will sadly end.

We will try and post some of our NEW rides.

We have over 500 photos from our Dust to Dawson in 2012, but we never did a report. We did 13,000 miles in 70 days on that trip.

We have a few pics way back from 2003 when we did one of the first Trans Labs...on BMW R1100RSL's with street tires!

We had a thing going for a while 'TAR' Tucker Adventure Ride......just easy four/five day rides with a friend of ours from the UK. This is a great way of riding. About 200/300 miles a day in a circle not too far from home.
San Felipe
Death Valley
Joshua Tree
Bonneville Salt Flats
Mexican Border road to El Paso
that type of thing......................plus we motel it...so it's a piece of cake.

Welcome back, you two. Like you, Marina and I ride for the ride, but sometimes sight seeing is nice too. It's all about the diversity!

Once you are settled in, expect a PM for a dinner invite.

Cheers,
Steve

I know a very authentic Mexican restaurant in Santa Paula, to save you riding 700 miles for Mexican food

Santa Paula would take us about the same amount of time. Have you ever tried to cross Los Angeles County east to west

We are headed up the mountain to our beloved Newcomb's Ranch at 8:00 a.m.

I'll have the SPOT on in the event that you would like to see the ride!

Pictures later today!

Well, as luck would have it, I have to work today
Wear your heated gear as it is 23 degrees up there! In So. Cal, wtf?
But I have arranged a little surprise for you at Newcomb's, so enjoy.
Welcome home Tucker's and thanks for all of your hard work in taking me along for your adventure.
Paul

Following this ride - I have driven up and down those roads, remember driving up to big bear - now that was scary, but fun!

Good for you a true gentleman !

One is allowed to use past participles and present perfect when one wishes

Used when one teaches grammar , most of us get by without ever knowing the technical terms. - does it matter anyhow?
