Gret ride

Loved the report and welcome home! I finally rode Angels Crest back in July on my way to Laguna.. Wish I knew about Newcombs back then. Went right by. I'll try to stop in next time. So where/when is the next adventure???

Thanks Jim.

Next (exotic) one may well be Baja.

We will have a few USA one's. I think we go to Georgia in summer.

Next bigger one is to UK to buy bikes and then Europe proper and then most likely North Africa........just Morroco

Morocco !!!!!!! ............. Yeah Baby !!!! ........... ;-)

Hi Tuckers !!!!

just great that you completed that fantastic TDF ride !!! ............. and that you're safely back in Claremont !!!!

Just hope your bikes and bits eventually appear too !!! ........... ;-)

I can THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND a ride thru Morocco (and you'll have a thrilling time riding thru Spain on the way from the UK !!!) ........... I did the "girlie" version with (UK) World of BMW back in 2005 .................. here's a pathetic pic as evidence !!!!

Hope to get to meet up in March when I'm in LA !!!

Best Wishes,

Matt

Hi James and Colleen,
Looks like you had a nice ride up in mountains. Bet you are glad to be back in the states and sleeping in your own bed for a change.
Checked out that 1200GS on Monday and waiting for the weather to warm up enough to clean the garage out as to make room for it. Will be a nice addition. Looks great !!!! Can't wait to ride it.

You'll love the GS I think. It almost rides itself. So balanced.

It is nice to be home, but we feel we ought to be RIDING.

tuckers to tdf

Still looking for motorbikes to add to our shipping container in Ushuaia, Argentina to Long Beach, California, U.S.A.

Shipping when it's full or early April 2004

Three more bikes and it'll be less than $1200 each.

We have a do all agent in Ushuaia and I can handle Long Beach end.

Well, what can I say?
Too bad your not excited about me getting the BMW Colleen..... Of course you had something to do with my decision. You both have been a big influence. So yes..... I've joined the club. I still have to get it home and make room in the garage for it. I hope that I get to ride it before my trip but the roads are still snow covered and full of salt. We need a nice day or I can trailer it home anytime.
It has the Adventure seat which makes it a bit lower but it's still awfully high for me. How do you manage? You must be on your tippy toes when stopped !!! So the ride is on.....let me know when and where and we'll put something together. Wish I could feel good about letting Ann ride. Just don't think she would be a good candidate.
Ride safe.
