What spacers need to be used?
Can you please describe what is needed in order to mount the 1290 screen on the 1190 (part numbers won't hurt)?

Can you also share your feedback after the test ride?

Any impressions already how it is at speed? I'd need a good replacement and the 1290 screen could be it.
I suffer from the buffeting the original 1190S screen creates, the R-screen is too low for touring (but good on shorter trips). So please, tell us how it feels. :)

The 1290 screen will work well only with the OEM headlight mask from the 1290.
So far the best screen I've had on my 1190 in the Givi AirFlow. A flawless setup, all the buffeting gone. And it exploits he exact same principle as the 1290 screen. They both are twin wall screens. (or whatever its called)

I don't think so.
I've the 1290 windscreen on my 1190R and it work well.
In my opinion, the mask is more for esthetic.

How does it handle the wind buffeting at your helmet at highway speeds?

The 1290 mask does have much wider wings on it but not sure whether that has a big say in the aerodynamics of the whole thing. I've ordered a 1290 screen (Should be here next week) and will write it up once it arrives (I'm 6'0" and get a lot of noise from the stock screen).

I had a Givi airflow on my GS which was brilliant but I'm loathe to put such an ugly screen on my brand new 1190. I'm hoping the laminar flow 1290 screen should do the job and look pretty at the same time

I went to my dealer to order these parts, and the system would not let them order them, said they were not available. Where can I get the 3 parts required to swap screens?
