Jesse 8" Odyssey II, with Wings Exhaust and spacers removed. Orange Lid racks.

Just the racks, nice and tight. Pretty low key.

Hepco Becker

I am a fan of the panniers looking symmetrical, not having a huge cut in one of them, or having a 40 litter on the left and a 30 on the right to "balance" it out, it looks weird, and with the bags off there is a big ugly frame protruding around the exhaust. I went with the Hepco Beckers that mount above the exhaust, doesn't mess with the balance (or i got used to it) and looks good with or without the panniers on, there is even a quick release you can take the whole thing off.. i will never use it, but you could.. and these where around 1200 bucks with the mounts, some panniers are crazy expensive.
I built a sissy bar out of a V Shaped Hang All from Harbor Freight ($2) and a grilling grate from Home Depot ($10) and threw a T-Bag on it!

Home Made Sissy Bar

Here is my $12 sissy bar!!
I think the Fox tail was $15, and it fell off somewhere along the ride.

all packed up

i think for running on roads this is fine, but off roaring i would bring the center of gravity down and use something besides a T-Bag.

Those are the biggest prairie dogs I've ever seen.

Excuse the messy garage and dirty bike. Got home from a rally last night and haven't had a chance to clean up.

Thank you. I've had it up to 115 on the speedo with this exact setup. No ill effects. Followed by 130 miles of dirt the same day. I absolutely love this thing!!!

Another option.....

Metal Mule boxes with Scorpion Exhaust. Overall width for 30 litre boxes is 95cm, just 5cm wider than the bars.

Nice setup, why you running with no form of chain guard, you not worried about a chain snapped and losing your ankle or smashing the crap out of everything, also all your chain wax flung all over I see?
