The entire field is behind Aleix today. I guess we can expect a pile of resignations on Monday.

When I first started trying to ride fast the theory was that you'd be off your brakes at turn in. Off the brakes, turn in and get on the gas to settle the suspension. Now they're teaching you to load the front all the way to the apex. I remember Freddie Spencer talking about sliding both tires on the GP bikes of the time. He was headed into a corner too fast. He knew that if he tried to turn at that speed he'd run wide. If he tried to slow he'd over load the front and low side. The only thing left to do was gas it. He did and the rear end broke lose and came around and it all worked out. The things these guys do and the decisions they make on the track are truly alien like.

Still hasn't seemed to add up to much come race day?

Kid can ride the balls off it though.

Supersoft tire on a (relatively) cold track.

No kidding. I don't mind digressions if they're related to MotoGP, but when it turns into stories about Bumfuk Raceway, I worry that the race topics could go the way of the Killboy topic, a cluster funk of porch-rocker-never-weres.

40 years ago we could only read about this. Seeing it live at full speed you just don't know what you're seeing. You know something wild happened, but you just can't see all of it happening.
Now, in HD we get to watch.

Marquez going into the corner with the rear six inches off the ground and his inside foot floating out there above the pavement for balance, and not crashing and just going faster, and faster... Speechless.
I'd kind of like to see this? Anyone have a link?
