Looks like this year may even be better than last year!
I would almost feel bad for Cal, other than the whole millionaire thing

Money is always nice (especially lots of it) but it always comes at a price.
Admiring your bank balance would be little compensation for someone with a keen competitive persona.

I agree, and judging by the look on Cal's face in some of the photos from yesterday, he was not enjoying himself so much.

I'm not even gonna quote it, but really BOOTLACE, seriously? In todays world that is an ignorant and offensive joke at best. And honestly to me it should be a banable offense.

Please think before you type.

I'd like to say Bautista will end up 2nd, if I had to put money on it though I would say Pedrosa.

Thanks for clarifying that it was the rear. I hadn't picked that for some reason (likely stupidity) and so had failed to see the joke. Now I'm glad to see Rossi's still able to have a laugh at himself.

This comment from him after Day One of testing sounds promising:

I have more experience with the bike and can work towards being stronger than last year. It looks like this bike has very big potential."

It would be nice if Yamaha had pulled out a stunner, with lots of room for refinement, while the Honda had little development left. Nice for the show, anyway.

Edit: good shot of Rossi here on Crash, with a story. Looks kind of comfortable.

Well ... there is Ducati. They will feel a lot better with Hayden behind them.

My ears perked up at that too. Early days, and Lorenzo won't exactly take it lying down.

Would be nice if Yamaha actually wanted Rossi competitive and not just a circulating ambassador. Course, they won't want their Spaniard going to Honda either.

He'll have a pneumatic head and a seamless box by Austin.
