More media hype and sensationalism.

Bummer for the Cop, maybe a butt-chewing by the chief, but getting fired no way.

Hope he gets a job somewhere else. I wouldn't have a problem with him being a cop in my community.

They don't like us either way. They think everybody is guilty of something. This may be true , but they seem to think a lot of things are OK for them , but wrong for us. That's why they forced him out , he was caught on video. Otherwise they'd have only been pissed had he lost.

The PA state police drive on the turnpike like its their own personal racetrack here. None of them ever get fired. Give the copper his job and his bike back.

As evidenced by the video, your use of the word "they" is an exaggeration.

Aparently some of "them" DO like other motorcyclists, and have no problem in having a little fun. Some of "us" ride every weekend, and most of the time some of "us" don't ride with other cops.

As one of "them", I saw nothing drastic.......nothing I would have written a ticket for had both been "civilians", and most certainly nothing that the guy should have lost his job over.

Now....if by "them" you were referring to the current crop of Police adminstrators........I agree with you. Most of those guys forgot where they came from, and will use whatever means available to them to advance thru the ranks.

How many times have we seen an officer breaking the law??? Maybe they should all be forced to resign.

I agree,,, looks tame and at worse the officer just needed a counceling session.
Absolutely. His dismissal was stupid.
