That clip shows how brave you are, Wesley. Offroading in the Carpathians can't be easy for a novice rider.

Following your report from the first day.

Man your style is great! I'm loving the way you roll, along the road, down a track, down a hill without your bike gem!

Mirrors and indicators ARE consumables on any bike used for offroading... Either remove them, or get used replacing them...

Agree that one of the things I like most about travel is the people along with the new places I have roamed to even just here in the USA and Canada.
Thanks for the constant work of sharing this amazing ride with us.

Spot tracker

(1 x mirror, 1 x indicator, charging plug, and the fatally wounded spot tracker who was still hanging in there)

Sorry for your fall, hard way to learn
There is a link to the tracker spot where we can follow your path? Or it is useless.

Bonnes routes

Very glad to hear that the tumble you took near the end of the video clip did not injure you, nor did the other falls. Easy to break an arm or a collarbone when you fall down a rocky slope. Great ride report!

So after we talked a little the kind people at the border said they would fill in all the paper work required for entry and offered me a coffee which was awfully kind of them and as i was feeling a little parched i took them up on this kind offer of a warm rosy hot cup of coffee.

Then they told me i required insurance which was very easy to buy right next to there office so i brought this and with in under 30 minutes i was on my way again, very nice border crossing i must say.

So enter Republica of Moldova!!!
Oh, were you lucky... I'm Danish (Danish Passport - strangely enough), on a Dutch bike... first it took me 10 minutes to make them understand that I was Danish, and the bike is Dutch due to the fact I live there. Didn't work out until I said "expat", then suddenly they understood... meaning "I must be coming from a poor country having to move to a rich county to be able to earn a living..." ...

Nice people though, wouldn't mind if their women would shave their upper lip

Awesome trip though...

Maybe pick up a couple rolls of DRZ duct tape for future repairs?:?
