What happened?

Somebody clue us in---those of us that don't read the other blog----where evidently something was announced that some of us haven't heard about yet?
Reading between the lines one might think that Wesley got married?
Nah!----forget that I mentioned such a Dumbkoff idea------Forgive me for even letting that thought enter my mind.

Man, the world is getting smaller all the time! There are so many inmates riding through Russia they're starting to post on each other's reports! And it was another report on a Russia/Stans/extremely Eastern Europe (if you will) trip that I was reading when what should I see but a reply by Wesley with a sort of cryptic reference to things he's been doing lately, and a (and don't take this the wrong way.....could be my eyes were going that night) rather dim photo of a couple cutting a cake. The fellow was in a dark suit and the young woman had a very beautiful white dress and a veil and the cake rather looked like one you might see at a wedding. Couldn't see that bloke all that well, but after flicking back between some shots of W in his report and the lucky sod cutting the cake my addled noggin began to see a resemblance, and his words seemed to fit. So I came back here and took a bit of a shot in the dark....and seem to have come up trumps. Or did I? We'll have to wait for Wesley to tell us the whole story. Could be I've got it completely wrong.

Cutting the Cake

The picture of some one cutting the cake---shrouded in mystery. Was it Wesley or could it have been 'Uncle Joe" You remember Uncle Joe from Bob Segar's "Fire Lake"

Who's gonna ride that chrome three wheeler
Who's gonna make that first mistake
Who wants to wear those gypsy leathers
All the way to fire lake
Who wants to break the news about uncle Joe
You remember uncle Joe
He was the one afraid to cut the cake
Who wants to tell poor aunt Sarah
Joe's run off to fire lake
Joe's run off to fire lake

Nah---forget that---It must have been Wesley---Uncle Joe is just a figment of Bob Segar's imagination

Some people look as having a family as a Ball and Chain.

Most of my friends always told me how Lucky I was to travel around and be free, I always told them they were merely on another adventure.

Good luck in your new adventure :)

Except for this----we haven't heard anything for more than a month now? Wesley does seem to be occupied elsewhere?
Maybe cutting a wedding cake has led to complications which will impede his travels for awhile?

I hope he isn't being held against his will in a Chechnya prison? Which is a fate worse than being married---but not by much---
