Not comfortable asking that

Whatever happened will probably come out eventually.
And I'm not saying you are pushing because you are not. I think it is natural to want to know the finality of a life. Perhaps not much is more natural than wanting to know how someone lived their last moments, or if religious, how they left this world. I'm well aware that anyone around when someone dies is gonna have to tell others about it.
I know Kurt's mom has been on FB and read some of the posts and threads and I think many have tightened up about it.
When more comes out I will post it here. But I think at this point there has been a transition and it's now about the living.
There are memorial rides planned. You should come to one.

Had the thrill of meeting Kurt at the KTM Rally in Steamboat Springs, Sept 2013. He came on the hotel elevator in full gear and I walked down the hill with him, boots squeaking all the way down to the haulers. I told him how much we enjoyed following his Dakar ride last year and the usual chit chat. I was very impressed with how humble and centered this young man was.
2 months later our hero is gone, still trying to come to terms with this loss.
Miss ya KC, you were a bright spot in our average lives.

I would like a Kurt Caselli 66 memorial jersey.
Is anything like that available?

It still hurts.
RIP

Destry has one...

But I don't know if it was a one-off or just a few or there will be a mass run. It may be like when Danny was killed where the closest friends do their own stuff. The first jersey, like the first stickers, may not be the best.

I can ask Destry or you can ask him on FB. So far all I'm aware of at the last Nationals are the t-shirts.

Wiegand said if anyone wants some free stickers send a SASE to the PanicRev Ministries in Murrieta.

I was just watching the Red Bull Erzberg race on NBC and right at the end they had 5-10 seconds of a picture of Caselli as a tribute. Nice touch!

The endurcross final just had a KC66 tribute before hot laps. Seeing Mike Brown barely able to hold it together for the interview got my allergies all flared up.

My kids are still very young but to them they have lost a hero who may have well been a family member. They will wear these T-Shirts at next seasons HS's with pride. What a great role model for my children to emulate!

Condolences to the family.

RIP KURT!

Sorry for being heavy-handed, but I moved a few recent posts out of here. Other forums are none of our business and we try to keep inter-forum unfriendliness away from ADV.

This thread should be reserved for us paying respect to Kurt, to support his friends and family.

The first casualty I ever read about back then from Offroad bike racing. As a kid it was like somebody I knew passed on.

RIP Kurt so sad.

Dunno about stickers, but there's a t-shirt available, all proceeds to the family:

I think those were from Ryan

I saw that too. Brown has two on I think. Seems to me that Ryan Allatoye posted a photo of his printing them at his shop early last week.

Do you know Ryan? He is on FB. Perhaps he'll do a SASE thing, I don't know and am not saying he can...
