Wicked NOOB here planning on doing some of the TAT.

Hey everyone, first off this is my first post on the forum. I've been a member for a few months, but haven't had much time to spend on the forum.
I've ridden for years on street touring bikes, and had my first taste of ADV touring in 2004-2005. Then due to job was bikeless until July of this year. I always rode with clubs, and riding groups that were street oriented, and haven't found much regarding folks into ADV riding.
Are there any ADV riding groups around N GA? I try and ride at least 2 week-ends out of the month, and haven't found any ADV folks.
Hoping to run into some fellow inmates.
Scout

You can get your fill of BS here in the Dualsporters of Ga thread.

There is also a North Ga Tag and a Ga Tag game that will get you riding.

There are also several ride/camp events around the southeast. Some are more off road oriented than others.

Welcome aboard.

Hey Scout - you're in the right place. Post up when you're ready to ride - I'm sure you'll have people join. I ride most weekends out of Rome and there are many others all over.

Thanks. I'll be checking the forum more often, hit a few rides, and I'm sure I'll post a few invites for riding. Just got my TN, and MS TransAmerican Trail files a few days ago for the GPS. Really looking forward to trying that out.
Just retiring my old 10 year old cheap riding suit, gloves, and boots today as I got my new ones. They just didn't get the job done in muddy N GA last week-end.
