Double the fun?

Why not run the two routes on different weekends? Most people could get away for at least one of the weekends.

I could ride my DR650 on one and my Tiger on the other?

I am going to watch this and decide as it's closer to the event date. Depending on the work schedule. See if a buddy of mine will have his KLR by then and we can ride up together.

Looks like a fun ride. I want to revisit Breitbachs for another meal, ride some B roads on my NC700X, and most importantly... lower my standards for a weekend!

I'd say if there is going to be room at the campground for more people you could make a streetish route.
But from what I rode last year, a good rider on a street bike should be fine.
Heck, I'll be on my "street" bike this year. Bring on the level B roads
Seriously, how big is the campground?? I'm looking forward to as many level B roads as possible along with the gravel (of course), and limited pavement as necessary.

I am sure there will be plenty of room there was a lot of open space last year.

I am thinking that I cannot do the actual ride because we are committed to Hiawatha, but I am thinking I would love to proof the route Memorial Day weekend.

If anyone else is game for that, I would love to ride with others.

I'm in for the Gravel and Killer Bees, but pavement would, I'm usre, be of interest to others . . . . . . .

Proofing the route over Memorial Day . . . .hmmmm . . . . . . .this certainly has potential, if I read your post as an inivtation correctly . . . . . . .

You read that correctly.

It is really hard for me to take a single day off, especially a Friday in 'peak' vacation season. I was thinking about leaving central Mn at 0 dark 30, Saturday morn hoping to hit the start at 9a. Ride, then camp Saturday, ride some more Sunday and either go home or stay till Monday.

That would be the plan for me, anyways. A more better plan will come together in May.
