I believe you do need all the rego gear, especially the front and rear lights as it can get dusty etc. That said the scrutineers told me to take off my mirrors so they don't get smashed.
Yeah, I wouldn't be too stressed about scruitineering, this year they barely looked at my bike - checked the head and brake lights, ran a spanner around the spokes and sent me on my way. I had my bike set up to the letter of the regs, but there were bikes with no blinkers passing through no worries. The important part was the paperwork, they were pretty big on everything being in order.

They checked my engine and frame numbers matched as per my rego papers.
I reckon if you get it Rego'd then as long as it all matches then your'e in business.

Normally with any sort of scrutineering if your bike looks ok and well set up, clean etc then its a fair bet the bikes ok. If you rock up and it looks like a piece of shit then they are going to go over it a bit more thoroughly.

I had to get rid of it as it was distracting me from my 450's not much of a crime but I'm a hanging judge Best bike I ever owned that ......

Found this on my phone.
Hopefully its clear, first time I took it out. I've only had it in single track and a bit of dirt road so far. It howls !
Can you see the rego ? First three letters are RSB. Apparently it ran in the 2010 safari.

Ok, well. I have just signed up to be the Clerk of the Course (autos) again this year.

However I will be doing the roadbooks for both Auto and Moto, and in fact heading out to start the route charting in 2 weeks.

A few things to remember.

1. You MUST have a valid current Senior National Motorcycle competition licence, issued by MA, or if you are an Auto competitor, a CAMS competition licence.

2. You are allowed to run an unregistered vehicle, but unless you are interstate, you must get the permit yourself. Sue is going to issue a how to shortly.

3. We are working on single seater side by sides (Garry), and will be in the Supp. Regs (which I am going to rewrite in the next couple of weeks).

4. Food. Finally it will be a return to sensible prices for a decent meal at the showground, breakfast and dinner. The presentation will once again be at the showground.

5. Start checking the website regularly, there should soon be regular updates, possibly some teaser course pics, a event menu with prices etc.

I just got home, after travelling 1400km for a committee meeting at Condobolin, and can report everything is on track, and am impressed with the new dynamic young committee members.

This will possibly be the best Condo 750 ever (and some sections you can really get your teeth into)

and one final point....yes the Autos and Motos use EXACTLY the same track, on alternate days.

Only down side....I cant compete anymore...

Nice bike! I asume there's a story behind it... you'll have to spell it out to me, I'm a bit slow.

I was hoping you'd be a super sleuth and come up with some pics of it in action, I can't find any
Apparently it's Jamie Chitticks' bike from 2010. I bought it from a bloke called Rob who worked for Glenn as a mechanic and went to Dakar twice it was his steed. I got pretty lucky as I saw it the moment it hit ebay and I was on the phone straight away. It has all the bits I needed for mine and then some.
About 250 hrs on it total but it was stripped and rebuilt 50 hrs ago and the head and piston is new.
I haven't opened it up yet but it's meant to be fast.
I'm using it for trails and plan to use it at Condo.
My original bike the valves went at Condo and so was rebuilt with stainless valves and a TRX piston. That one I'm building for Safari. I figure I need reliability more than speed.

I'll put some pics up tomorrow..

Okay GT... the age-old question... where will the course run this time around? To the north, east, west or to the south (it's been down that way once or twice before?) of Condo' this year...?

C'mon... you know you can trust me...
