Camping in GW National Forest...
A Harley Nighster, a Triumph Bonneville, a BMW R60/5, and a little bit of adventure.
Rode from Frederick down to Woodstock VA.
Nice little ride, great camping spot, and a few too many ticks.
We setup camp just next to a mountain stream that feeds a reservoir. The water was damn cold. We tied off our beer/food and left it in the stream. Ice cold beer on a 90 degree day, I can dig it. You could have probably drank straight from the stream, but we filtered it just to be safe.
We were in the valley, rock face on either side of the stream.
Here's the campsite.
My buddy didn't bring a tent, so we all chipped in and built this for him.
A few logs, a tarp, some twine and some paracord...
After setting up camp and building the makeshift tent, we rode back into town to pickup the essentials (BEER).
The rack I welded up for my tent is perfect for holding beer.

I've camped there.
Great spot. The stream does a great job of keeping your beer cold.
Some nice dirt roads in the area.
