Gotta love the honesty in naming the ride

I plan on being there, the country down that way is amazing.

More like bunk-house. It is the general store/gas station. Debra (I believe her name is) who owns it, was born and raised there.

Lunch stop is there...we are providing the food, she is selling the beverages, would like to support her.

Over-all mileage may change, we are still tweaking the route.

Don, watch it rain.

Mileage is around the 145 mark, mostly gravel ranch roads. Our aim is to have it more scenic than difficult. Novice riders should have no problem with the easy route, the hard route may give some people problems...but I don't think it is that hard. A talented rider should be able to take a big adventure bike through it, though. There is no single track on this ride. The hard route shares most of the easy route...it is only a couple off shoots, maybe 8-10 miles.

We will only give out the routes if you pre-enter, which is open until Saturday, or sign up the day of. We will have preprinted roll-charts, and a lap top to download GPS (bring your cord if you have a non-garmin device) Our main focus is to raise money for the food bank, so we want people to sign up to receive the route.

Weather is looking good, rain today and tomorrow...and only a drizzle on sunday, then getting clear.

That was the running joke as we mapped out the course most of the summer.

Good thing too, we did the final clean GPS track two weeks ago, it was muy dusty, silty in a couple small areas.
