CR High bend + 30mm Touratech risers

Hey folks,

I'm currently running the Touratech 30mm bar risers and stock bars but feel like I'd like just a little more height.. Has anyone tried running some ProTaper CR high bends on top of these risers?

I'm slightly concerned about running out of cable by raising the controls this much.. Any info/experience much appreciated.

Thanks, F.

I'm not a fan of risers, but these Pro Taper Raptors work. I have a set on the KTM450 also.

Can you get bark busters on the 990 without problems ? I like this better than risers . Would be a little more work getting my grips off .

The Raptors might very well work better than the CR-Hi bend with risers.

However, if you decide to go with the risers and CR-Hi bend, I have a Peo Taper CR-Hi that is new and for sale. I mounted it on my bike and then decided that I wanted to go with a different bend.

Never dropped, or damaged, in fact, never even been out of the garage. There is some residual grip glue on the knurled left side where I removed the grip. Will make you a good deal on the bar if you are interested. Can send photos also.

There's quite a bit of room on the cables, the clutch hose and the front brake hose are not a problem. You will need to turn over the throttle so the cables exit out the bottom. You can see this in the 990 picture above.
