Punta Penasco Camping Tips -AZ riders ? Please -Late Notice

Sorry Late notice -I am leaving in the AM to go to Punta Penasco-GS 800 sticking to the main roads. Any good moto friendly,safe campgrounds,??.

I never been their and I want to check it out. Any tips on the area ?

Sorry guys- I don,t come here to ADV Rider much any more. We have a forum here in San Diego and I hang out their. I did a report in SDAR but it got lost in a server update.

Quick one here. Rode their -Talked to a guy who said to go and camp at the Reef ( Bar ,RV park,and open beach camping ) It was perfect.

Beach and town were nice-good experience but the ride was kind of long and not to interesting . Would I go again probley so. Maybe with SUV with beach water toys.

Note police pickup stuck in sand !



Newer Hotels close to campground



Wrecked at the Reef bar- happening place -live bands lulled me to sleep

WOW I walked in front of that place. That would have been good entertainment - sipping a cold one from beach chair.

Used to go there a lot when I lived in Phx. Sandy Beach was wide open,only thing there was The Reef and a campground down the road a bit.Good times:
