Hi all,

Pingüinos is less than two hours riding from home. I cannot plan for the full weekend now but it is very likely that I can at least visit the meeting on Saturday.

Javalambre is also in the list, who knows...

I went to the Javalambre in 2012 and it was in effect snowed off - well it is a ski resort

But this year I rode around the summit on two days, there are loads of rails and it's fantastic- I also have trails almost all the way there from Albarracín :)

I can't afford the journey to Pinguinos, and I'm not sure if I'll be going to Javalambre either, but if I do it'll be with another group of friends who last time rented a cottage.

The standard translations are boring; courage, dedication, etc. But the meaning of the term is simple - "It takes some balls* to do that!"

Sp. 'cojones' = Eng. 'balls' (colloquial - testicles)

BTW - you english speakers: be very careful asking for two eggs (huevos) with your chips, and be even more careful to ask for a chicken, 'pollo' (masculine version), as opposed to 'polla' (feminine version) - over to you to explain that one
