KTM 690 Engine 2011 34000kms

Selling my original KTM 690 Engine 2011 34000kms,I have owned this since new. The main input shaft broke and as it separated at an angle it pushed the clutch bearing out of the main engine casing. I bought a secondhand motor so I could get going again straight away and now I have all the parts required to rebuild this original motor. All replacement parts are brand new genuine KTM spares.

The engine has new gearbox main shaft complete with all new bushes, bearings and securing spirolox rings. New matched main engine cases supplied complete with all new bearings and seals already installed. Complete new gaskets throughout. The original piston, barrel, head cam etc have been inspected by a KTM Tech and all found to be in perfect condition requiring no rework and the piston has not been removed from the bore thus ensuring no disturbance of the rings and he also advised not to attempt any decoking as this was minimal and not disturbing it meant no debris down to the rings. The cam rockers and clutch plates were previously replaced only a 1000km prior to the failure. I am also fitting a new cam chain on assembly as I was advised that this was a wise thing to change whilst it was apart.

The engine is just the base engine and does not include the throttle body however it does include the starter motor.

This is the deal, I am after expressions of interest at this stage as I am about to commence reassembly and it is the ideal opportunity for a prospective buyer to examine all components whilst disassembled which I thought would be a great idea. My plan then is to assemble the engine and retain it as a spare whilst I compete in the ADVX Rally. After I have done the ADVX rally I will install it into my bike to prove its operation to the prospective buyer.

Purchase price will be $2000 non negotiable as that is what I had to pay for the other motor. I would prefer a deposit to show some commitment to the purchase however that would be fully refundable if the sale fell through due to unforeseen circumstances which would include my potential need for the engine if my current engine failed during ADVX. I know this is a different approach to the sale but as I started to put it together it dawned on me that if I was buying it I would really appreciate the chance to inspect it whilst it was disassembled. If buyers prefer to wait until it is completely assembled and running then so be it.

Please PM me if interested or if you have further questions.

Pissed HUSQVARNA TC 250 (like new) - $6,250

This 2012 250 is not your normal bike - for an entire year it sat front and centre as the show piece at Trooper Lu's Garage. This is a show room bike with less than a 5 hrs on the throttle. Over $3000 worth of trick bits including a $900 racing ECU. I've ridden it for less than 20 mins and I can tell you this is a wheel standing power pack of a bike. You don't need a 450 when you can have this much power at this weight.

I brought this bike on pay day (bad idea) it was a bargain too good to walk past - but I've been overseas for 2 years and have no time to ride it. So it's for sale while it's still new [looking]. What you see in the pictures is what you get - clean as!

So if your in the market for a track/trick bike which looks the part, contact me for more details and a full extra parts list

Bike viewing around the Hills District - have a van so can come to you or meet mutual location.

Suzuki DRZ400S Parting

Suzuki DRZ400s parting out everything there ex front wheel and head.
Can post

Also Revit Sand pants size 54 ex large silver unused still got the labels on again great pants
I have the large in these and like them a lot, They take knee braces and vent pretty well. Asking $200

The SAND Pants offer 4-season, year round comfort and protection from both pavement and the elements. The SAND Pants offer a double PWR/shell seat and PWR/wax coating on the inside of the legs, for a better grip on the bike. The legs are also versatile: thin enough to wear inside the boot, but wide enough to wear over it. Watercatchers prevent water from creeping up into the leg, and a detachable thermal lining and removable 3-layer membrane round out the total comfort of the SAND trousers.

BMW F650GS Dakar stuff

Hi all,

I have some spare stuff that I'm not using.
These are off a 2005 F650GS Dakar so I'm not sure what other years or models they might fit.

All located in Wollongong.

PM or call/txt 0418 676 616

Please see link to the photos here:

1. Touratech Zega 35L panniers and racks. Panniers are a bit dented so not dust or water-tight, but still very usable and functional. You'll need to source some bolts to put the frame together. (a couple are there, but not all)

2. Ralle-Moto steering damper kit. Includes bar risers and all mounting hardware. This was used for one ride by previous owner and then removed. He just left the risers on. I've since removed the lot as I wanted the bars back down low. (I can post this if you like)

3. Wunderlich touring screen. Same as the one I currently have fitted, but has a few minor scratches on one side. See photos.

4. Left side panel and beak. Some scratches and dirt, but not broken. Previous owner had an off and replaced them.
