Bump and price drops...

The "Help Fund Dave to the Australasian Safari" Sale...!!!

Trying to raise a few extra funds to help make my path to the 2014 Australasian Safari a little less fraught, so I'm selling off some bits and pieces that are not essential. Click on the photos to see more, and note that the prices do not include postage (PM me your location for a postage cost).

2 x pairs of Draggin' Jeans. Both have been worn only two or three times, no marks, scuffs or anything else - they're as new. Both are Size 36, the black cargo pants are a length 42 leg, the blue jeans are a 43 inch leg. Retail for around $180 or so each, looking for $110 each plus delivery.

1 x set of Wheeling Cycle Supply WR250R/X old school graphics kit, new and unused. Comes with decals for the front and rear guards, side panels, fork guards and radiator shrouds. Retails for US$175, looking for $100 plus delivery.

1 x Set of Force Accessories Radiator Guards for 08-13 KTMs and 13 Husabergs (probably 14 also, but you'd need to check). Brand new, never used. They don't fit with the KTM Acerbis tank, so they need to go. Retail for $177, looking for $100 plus delivery.

1 x generic nylon throttle tube. Says it fits KX and KDX models on the back of the pack, but I don't know any more than this. Cost me $25, looking for $10 plus delivery.

1 x Chaingang rear sprocket for a WR250F (or R, if you use WRF sprocket bolts). It's 46 tooth, and brand new in its packaging. These sprockets last forever, and retail for $140. Looking for $90 plus postage.

1 x NEW Pirelli Scorpion Rally rear tyre in size 140/80-18. Brand new, still with it's labels on. These retail for $230 each, looking for $150 plus postage.

Any questions, please ask. Thanks for your support of my Safari efforts..!

Two x Garmin Zumo 550

Unit One includes
Zumo 550
Cary case
Original box
Bike mount Edit: Found a brand new RAM mount in the box which will go nicely with it.
Car mount (missing one screw but works just fine)
Wall charger
Spare accent covers
Maps: City Navigator 2014.20 (current mapset)
Maps: Garmin Topo Australia V3
Maps: Tracks 4 Australia
Touratech Vibration Isolator key lockable Mount (current RRP $261.53)
Condition: Has some minor scratches on bezel. Has had touch screen replaced. Bike mount was replaced early on due to water damage, this is a known issue and subsequently we used precautions to prevent leakage and have had no trouble since. Has given trouble free service for many years and many trips both here in Oz, in NZ and in the USA.

(Unit 2 has been sold)

Unit two includes
Zumo 550
Cary Case
Original Box
Bike mount
Car Mount
Wall charger
Spare Accent covers
Maps: City Navigator 2014.20 (current mapset)
Touratech Vibration Isolator key lockable Mount (current RRP $261.53)
Condition: Excellent. Has given trouble free service for many years and many trips both here in Oz, in NZ.

Touratech mount info is here: http://shop.touratech.com.au/handleb...-lockable.html

Touratech mounts are keyed alike, and allow you to leave the unit mounted on the bike unattended although nothing will stop a really determined thief with some tools, they will however prevent the opportunistic passer by. We only ever removed the Zumo's while the bike was parked at a hotel overnight, during the day when stopped we never gave them a second thought.

Both units have Lifetime Map Updates, but Garmin won't allow this to be transferred to another owner. However I am happy to update the maps for as long as is possible, assuming we can get the unit attached to one of our computers so I can log in and perform the update, bottom line they would have to be returned to us for updating.

We also have one spare battery, but not sure why or what condition it's in. First in best dressed, it goes to the first purchaser that coughs up the asking price.

Separately: Cheap, especially considering the TT mount is included - $425 each
Together: A bargain one each for him and her so no arguments - $800 the lot

We are in Brisbane, price includes postage to Oz

For sale

A pair of black ktm 990 adventure crash bars. Used, scuffed marks have been touched up by the previous owner, they look pretty good. May require longer mounting bolts and plastic tubing around the clamp end to protect your frame paint

These came with a 2010 ktm 990 adv I have recently bought but were not fitted.

Located in Brisbane, prefer pick up. $ 150, does not include postage. PM thanks

1987 Honda Transalp 600

I've come to the reluctant conclusion that it is possible to have too many motorbikes and that the Transalp is probably surplus to requirements, so I'm putting it up for sale.

It's a 1987 Honda Honda XL600V Transalp with 127xxxkm and the following mods:

Ohlins rear suspension
Progressively wound front springs
320mm front disc brake
Converted to rear disc brake using standard, later model TA components
Pro-taper alloy bars
Barkbusters
Crash bars (tested)
Home made racks for soft pannierst
Auxiliary power outlets (2)
Tool tube
Custom made alloy bash plate and chain guard
New alloy front rim with heavy duty stainless steel spokes
CDI's replaced, correct mount fitted. There is also a spare CDI for emergencies
Swingarm, steering head and wheel bearings replaced and valves checked/adjusted at Christmas

Cosmetically... the photo's flatter it alittle bit. The bike has had an adventurous life and has previously been owned by at least a couple of inmates of this forum. As a result it's not pristine and has the bumps and bashes consistent with it's age and use. This includes a split in the seat cover (replacements are on ebay for <$100).That said, it's still presentable. It's stone reliable (you only have to look at the button and it starts), well sorted and set up and still attracts a bit of attention when you pull up in country towns. It will steam along all day at 110 and is faster, smoother and more powerful than a DR/KLR.

The tyres are about 20%; I will fit a new set of Mitas EO7's in the price and it will have a fresh oil change and filter. The Rego has recently expired, but it can be re-registered in the ACT with no issues. I will get the mandatory r/worthy check done for ACT purchasers and will negotiate on the cost of 3 months rego.

The Airhawk isn't included.

I'm asking $3000. PM me if interested.

KTM Tank Bag - Large

KTM Power Parts # 75012019000

Good condition, includes mounting harness, clear navigation pouch and rain cover. A cool feature is that the navigation pouch can attach directly to the mounting harness. It's got a small top compartment to fit mobile phone, pens, documents etc. and then a huge internal storage compartment. The body of this bag is very strong and rigid. Selling only because I already have a tank bag which I prefer over this one.

Here's an online listing of one like it : link

Asking $125 + postage

Located in Brisbane eastern suburbs, PM if interested
