A KTM dealer will have an XC-1 tool, or the new PC based tool. These work on all fuel injected KTMs, Husbergs. For major services with the valve adjust, these can keep the engine tuned.

Dealers don't own these, the tools are leased from KTM. Private owners can't have them. For the 990/690's there is TuneECU.

If you have the fuel injected dirt bike, you can solve most problems with a VOM (Volt/Ohm meter). But, they have few electrical problems, mostly just clogged filters and injectors.

"Son, you can't do both"

That is the old XC1, it is not available to the public....not sure why it would be listed on that site but I assure you if you tried to order it would not be fulfilled. Even if you got the hardware somehow you could not get the software of the license to use it unless you are a KTM dealer.
