I could be wrong
I reasoned that I run a full Akra system (catless) on my GSA with no issues. I do have a power booster mounted which is the same as the Wuka king device offered for the 1190. Fools ecu that its 20 degrees cooler and enriches AF. GSA runs well so....

See KAGs post with pictures, there already was dust in the box. I do agree with Wilmar, the top needs to be sealed as well. I run the full UNI with the socks. I will open it up again in about 700 miles @3k and have a look see.

Thumb 1190 Oil Filter Kit

Gday Guys

A general question concerning this kit.

The paper element part of the kit, where does that go exactly.
If anyone could clarify that for me, greatly appreciated.

I plan to do my own oil + Motorex after I have covered 15,000 Km's
My bike is just about to turn over 10,000Km's still original Conti tyres..
I believe the oil change is not such a big deal, also im of the view the bike will take 4 litres of oil, also stand corrected on that...

You don't have to replace those screens. Just clean them. I also bought this kit though so I could have spares of "things that might get stepped on while performing an oil change"

Just had the second service (8000km) done on my '14 today. (Monterrey, Mexico)
So far so good on the airbox. Dealer replaced the stock filter. Nothing got past it.
I guess some of them work.

Is that what the dealer told you or is that what you saw with your own eyes?
Also did you ride much dirt?
I'm stoked for you. I think most of us are dealing with the issue.

Did a few things tonight

First I hard wired my GPS

Installed a new replacement LED light

Did the SAS kit

Put back together the airbox and sealed it up tight.

Drained the fuel and replaced the fuel filter......glad I did. The damn fuel screen screw I could not get off. They really torqued that joker in there and the screw they used is cheap soft steel.....phillip's head starts stripping quick. The fulter replacement was pretty simply once you look at the part and figure out how it all comes apart. I also went and bought a small inline filter I plan to install between the cross over line.

Tomorrow I plan to mount my new battery, install my new LED blinkers....they are smaller to help with get offs and I tested them and are Bright. I will solder in the turn signal resistors, and got a few new bolts when I start re-skinning it
