Installed my heated grips, thought it was little bit of a pain in the ass that I had to take almost all the fairings off to get to the 4 screws holding the head light. Plugged them in and they worked great. went for a 120 mile ride at highway speeds with a pair of Alpine star gauntlet gloves with Seirus tactical liners and my pinky and thumbs were a little cold at 40 degrees.
The Service light came on, so I stopped at the dealer and they could not figure out what was causing it. They are working on the new computer they had to buy from KTM but they need a software upgrade and they were told it would not be available until Tuesday.
It ran fine and I did a little dirt riding in dirt mode and most of the ride I was in Street mode and it ran great and is just an unbelievable machine. Never imagined a do it all motorcycle that could actually do it all! This one can
Can't wait to take it to the track!

So here is my attempt at making a video for those interested in the Jesse cases. I got them yesterday, and installed them. Enjoy...or don't.
Steven Spielberg you are not, but awesome video! Between this and seeing the bags in person on a buddy's 990 I am pretty much sold on a set for my 1190R.

What width (8" or 10") are the bags that you are showing in your video?

You can reset the service light yourself.

I am sure this is 520 somewhere (sorry) but does everyone else have issue with back the foot/leg hitting the passenger pegs while riding this bike? Just sitting on it was annoying. I suppose completely removing the pssnger pegs would be the remedy?

Achtung!

Brought mine home yesterday. There is a gray warning label in the middle of the gas tank "Warning. Read the owners manual before..." in several languages.
Any suggestions on how to remove it without damaging the plastic gas tank?

Try Hot water, it has worked well in the past for me.

Heat gun or hair dryer

I learned that trick by accident. My hot water tank is in the garage, I tried in vain to remove the decals on an aprilia with a heat gun and made a gooey mess. In my shame I took the bike outside and washed it. ( I always connect hose to HW tank because I like the warm water, AND it is extremely beneficial for the HW tank. It removes sediment and will make it last longer.)
Anyway the gooey decal came off as well as the others .Been doing it ever since :)
