Question Walls of Jerico ?

Has anyone hiked to the walls of Jerico? Thinking about riding there and hiking then riding home. How difficult is it?

Thanks

I'll try to do it in the spring after the days get longer. I'm about a 2 1/2 hour ride away and what i can find out it's about 6 hours in and out.

It ain't no picnic, I'll say that. Also take a beater vehicle & leave nothing of value behind. You should go when the water is running. Pretty cool place.

From the folks I have talked to it is a full days hike. Not because of the distance, but because steepness. Most would classify it as strenuous.

Six hours will not leave much time for sightseeing.
