I can't wait to see it. I look at it as a celebration of what we love and I want to support the film makers for producing this for us.

And afterparty? Who said afterparty? Rockaway,NJ Jan 8th...

The funny thing is that he is too nervous to ride his new mini bike so he just sits on it in the shed and makes motorcycle sounds.

That's funny, when he does ride it he won't want to get off it

went to see it in Providence last night (snipped from that thread)

Overall not bad... Seemed like a 90 minute version of the intro video to the MSF BRC "welcome to the ride". I'd say the movie was probably 30 minutes too long, and could be titled "why Americans ride". Seems to be targeted towards the v-twin cruiser crowd, ignoring pretty much the rest of the world, the rest of motorcycling history, along with sport touring or ADV riding types. Having said that it was a nice night out.

I guess if you've nothing better to do on a cold winter night w/ 90 minutes to kill....

Of course if I had it to do over I'd probably just download the movie and watch it at home.

YMMV

A friend found it on the piratebay so we watched it. I found it rather boring. There are too many stories that added nothing to the message, and the stories that should have been the star, like the guy who lost both his legs and still rode around the world, were only briefly mentioned. I couldn't make any connections to the people because they were only featured for 3 minutes before they moved to someone else. I just didn't feel the passion for riding was properly conveyed through this movie. I also found no connection to why I personally ride and the message the movie was providing. I don't see any reason why my parents, who are against riding, would watch this movie and change their minds.

Glad it wasn't just me.

I found it sappy and gag inducing in parts.

You should come up and watch it with us with the open bar.
I bet it will be a lot better (especially with before AND after parties):

It sure would make it more palatable but I can't make it unfortunately.

Honestly, I'd really love to come and hang out with everyone but I just can't make it.

Have fun, hope you like the movie more than I did

With the pre-party and the bar in the movie theater I think we will think it was the best movie in the world.

second time watching it

Just watched my DVD copy of it with my wife - she really enjoyed it and now wants to get a vintage scrambler or old cruiser type bike and head to Bonneville Salt Flats to try to set the land speed record!

I like it better watching it in the comfort of my house with a couple of cold brews and a big bowl of homemade popcorn.

I will definitely watch it again.

It was a really fun movie and with the way the weather has been a great 90 minute release imo. I liked the soundtrack as well.
