I don't believe Honda ever homologated it.

But then isnt the Harley XR even more of a vintage pushrod style bike? 1st made in 1972 in it's current form,RS designed in the 80's.

Harley says it will race the new 750 engine next year, its an under 60hp streetbike engine so another underdog at first glance.
For sure Sochiro is turning over in his ashes seeing what his grandkids did to HIS factory and bikes..... Not just the RS!All of them! He lived to see the RS die. With Honda it was the move to cars that killed them as a m/c factory.A real shame for those of us who actually remember what competitive warriors they were in his lifetime.

I read the book about Mr Honda,he was pretty much a wildman and loved partying and really enjoyed racing,he raced bikes himself and got really beat up once or twice. Building boring sensible bikes wasnt in his plan.
When he passed the bike business went another way at Honda.

Peoria TT this Sunday. My favorite race on the schedule.

Sunday schedule is here. (Ignore the track map :laughing ) Catch slides and jumps on via live streaming on FansChoice.TV.

Highlights from last year's Main.

1. Take your own folding chair.

2. Root for #17 Hank Wiles...this will make you look smart.

3. Watch from the back stretch/jump section for at least one race. Just to get a feel for how they fly.

Or just a blanket to spread on the ground.

The track is in a valley, so seating is on the hillsides.

Excessive sunshine shouldn't be a problem today.

Flat Track Live on Facebook is delivering some great video highlights from Peoria. Be sure to check them out along with the highlights from the local short track races on Friday and Saturday night. The work Thunder Multimedia does for them is fantastic.

Love watching Wiles ride at Peoria. He makes every part of that track work for him. Ten in a row and 26 GNC victories!

A question to those that watch the racing on Fanschoicetv: is it my computer or is the webcast jerky with a lot of buffering and pixilating?
This is aggravating, and can't imagine new fans sitting thru it.
